This painting is a step away from my usual style and was actually created as a result of a dream - I was so taken with image of the eye in my dream that I absolutely had to put it on canvas as it seemed so full of meaning but without actually giving away the secrets behind the emotion.

The eye and tear are finished with a gloss varnish, with the rest of the canvas finished in satin.
